Purchasing Administrator in the Oshkosh Area

The Purchasing Administrator supports the purchasing department by managing daily coordination of purchase transaction activities. This role ensures that goods and services are effectively procured to support business operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Process purchase order defers, expedites, and cancellations.
  • Run reports for unacknowledged orders and manage past due orders.
  • Review supplier portal and update or change purchase order data as required.
  • Run reports for purchase order activities and communicate with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Review and coordinate daily supply chain email communications.
  • Coordinate advanced shipping notification process.
  • Interface with suppliers on purchase order activities and invoice processing.
  • Update the ERP system with purchase order information.
  • Coordinate with materials to manage supplier receiving issues and returns.

Essential Skills :

  • Advanced Excel experience, including pivot tables and v-lookup.
  • Proficiency in data entry and order management.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One year of relevant experience.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications :

  • Associate degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Purchasing experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing requirements.
  • Work Environment :

    The role operates on a schedule from 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM CST, Monday through Friday. This position requires working onsite and is not available for hybrid or remote work.

    Job Type & Location :

    This is a Contract position based out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

    Pay and Benefits :

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 / hr.
