Position Overview : We are seeking a Mechanic Assistant to support our maintenance team. This role involves assisting mechanics with daily tasks, organizing parts and tools, and helping keep the shop running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of mechanic experience , knowledge of parts warranty processes, and basic mechanical skills. Candidates must also have their own basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics with repairs and maintenance on diesel and gas-powered vehicles and equipment.
• Organize and maintain parts storage and shop inventory.
• Put away tools, equipment, and parts after jobs are completed.
• Assist with parts returns and warranty processing.
• Perform basic mechanical tasks as directed by lead mechanics.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
