Maintenance Technician & Mold Processor OH

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician / Mold Processor to join our plastic injection molding team. This role is key to ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe production by performing mold changes, machine maintenance, and troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical systems. What You’ll Do :

Monitor the molding process to maintain consistent product quality.

Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and mold changes on machines.

Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, and preventive maintenance on equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

Coordinate with service providers when repairs are needed.

Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.

What We’re Looking For :

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Hands-on experience with injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.

Familiarity with micrometers, grinders, CNC machines, and preventive maintenance tools / software.

Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Effective communicator and team player.

Preferred Qualifications :

High school diploma or technical certification (industrial maintenance, electronics, or related field).

Experience in troubleshooting molding equipment and PLC-controlled systems.

Previous experience in a plastic injection molding facility highly valued.

Work Environment :

Fast-paced manufacturing setting with collaborative teamwork.

May involve working in high-heat environments and performing physical tasks such as lifting.

Requires quick decision-making to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production.
