Position Overview

As a Sewer Utility Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the Citys sanitary and storm sewer systems. This position involves operating specialized equipment, performing pump station maintenance, and supporting preventative and emergency repairs. Youll be expected to continually develop and master new skills to support the departments progressive goals and deliver first-class service to Florence residents.

Key Responsibilities

Success Measures

By the end of your first year, you will be fully acclimated to the range of services provided by the Waste Water Division. This includes a strong understanding of utility ownership, as well as the preventative maintenance and repair procedures necessary to ensure the continued delivery of first-class service to the residents of Florence.
