5-7 years purchasing leadership in manufacturing environmentProven success as supply chain manager, materials manager, purchasing manager, purchasing officer or head of purchasingKnowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in "reading" the marketProven successes with negotiations and networkingAptitude in decision-making and analyzing dataStrong leadership capabilitiesProven knowledge of KPI's and early indicators managementProven knowledge establishing preferred sourcing models (contract warehouse, consignment, vendor management) leading to excellent inventory managementExperienced in open order management and missing parts managementSignificant knowledge of material handling, with proven ability to lead lean continuous improvement activitiesBS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration is required.
