The Final Assembler builds final product to print by placing all necessary wiring, wiring harnesses, circuit cards and other hardware components within a chassis.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Manually and precisely assembles components into a final product by following work instructions and blueprints
  • Fit cable harnesses, circuit card, and components into chassis neatly and within tolerance
  • Completes discrete wiring into chassis by soldering and lugging
  • Utilizes correct torqueing tools and applies the correct torque during assembly
  • Mixes, weighs, and applies appropriate bonding chemicals to electronic components
  • Obtains and maintains J-Standard certifications
  • Utilizes computer to access and input data on the ERP system, Quality system, and other manufacturing software
  • Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the value of this organization.

  • Fine manual dexterity
  • Ability to operate various machines and hand tools
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player within a small team
  • Enjoys repetitive and routine work
  • Ability to read and comprehend work and process instructions (read / understand schematics, CAD drawings or blue prints)
  • Fine motor skills, dexterity, and good eyesight

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous soldering experience preferred
  • Obtains and maintains basic certifications in IPC610 and JStandard001 procedures
  • Ability to obtain / maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
  • 9 / 80 work schedule.

    • Work Environment :

  • Production Environment : Requires physical capability to work in a production environment up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities including; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Hours 6 : 00 3 : 30, Monday through Thursday; Friday 6 : 00-2 : 30; occasional additional hours as needed
