Senior Graphics Software Engineer - Apple Vision Pro Seattle, Washington, United States | Software and Services

Description Apple makes the newest technologies accessible to create amazing user experiences. You will have the opportunity to work in a team developing system-level frameworks enabling these experiences, in close collaboration with creative teams across Apple and VPG. The candidate for this role should be comfortable working in a dynamic and creative environment. Engineers are expected to work efficiently and intelligently to evaluate the viability of ideas and technologies. A strong understanding of GPUs and low-level programming is essential, along with a passion to innovate and explore these technologies to help creatives surprise and delight users.

Minimum Qualifications At least 8+ years of relevant industry experience, including :

Proficiency in programming with C++

Strong knowledge of mathematics for 3D real-time applications (linear algebra)

Understanding of GPU hardware architecture and its impact on solutions

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Experience in designing and implementing real-time 3D and / or spatial experiences

Experience delivering high-quality software to end users

Preferred Qualifications Experience leading projects or teams

Proficiency in writing optimized code using profiling tools, assembly, SIMD, compute, etc.

Familiarity with major modern graphics APIs (Metal, Vulkan, DirectX, etc.)

Knowledge of macOS and Unix systems

At Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation package, determined within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base pay range for this role is $171,600 to $302,200.
