Software Developer Engineer II (Python | Django | React | CI / CD)

Location : Plano, TX

accepting on W2 candidates, No C2C candidates

We're looking for a talented Software Developer Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain complex applications using Python, Django, and RESTful APIs . The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills, CI / CD pipeline experience, and familiarity with React for modern UI development.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using Python
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs using Django and Django REST Framework
  • Develop dynamic UIs with React and integrate with backend services.
  • Set up and manage CI / CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
  • Debug and optimize code for performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality software delivery.
  • Mentor junior developers and perform detailed code reviews.
  • Work with Unix / Linux , writing shell scripts using bash, grep, awk

Qualifications :

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Python development.
  • Proficiency in Django Django REST Framework , and RESTful API design
  • Hands-on experience with React CI / CD tools , and ETL processes
  • Familiar with Apache Airflow for workflow automation and Superset for data visualization.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access Database
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in Unix / Linux environments and scripting.
