The University of Iowa, Department of Family Medicine provides expert patient care and support to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. We offer a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity care, in a safe, comfortable, and confidential setting. Our faculty received training at a variety of medical schools and postgraduate programs, bringing a rich diversity to our department. The UI Department of Family Medicine is seeking physicians for teaching and non-teaching opportunities to build their career within a thriving academic healthcare system. This is an excellent opportunity to practice a full range of primary care / family medicine, including outpatient, inpatient, and maternity care (operative or non-operative). Additionally, candidates are encouraged to participate in departmental scholarship and can explore both intramurally and extramurally funded research activities.
