Instructional Systems Designer / Curriculum Developer- Georgia

Position Description Serco is seeking an Instructional Designer / Curriculum Developer to join our team supporting the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Charleston, SC, who will report to the Senior ISD / Contract Project Manager. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact in federal law enforcement training!This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain / maintain / transfer a DHS Public Trust clearance prior to starting employment. In this role you will :

• Works under the supervision of the Project Manager / Senior Instructional Designer to develop and document instructor-led, paper-based, and technology delivered curricula or performance support solutions.
• Work with subject matter experts and instructors to design and develop lesson plans, student guides, quizzes, and other elements of scenario-based and performance-based instructor-led and web-based training under the guidance of a Sr. ISD
• Work with an instructional design team (instructional designers, graphic artists, SMEs, instructors) and project and program managers to design responsive training and / or performance support solutions and schedules
• Update and maintain course content for instructor-led and web-based courses
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the ISD process and fosters design innovation. Captures and diagrams workflow processes, conducts task analysis and workflow observations.
• Participates in visual design, prototyping, and usability testing and evaluation.
• Reviews products throughout analysis, design, and development for style guidelines, writing standards, and sensible course / task flow.
• Demonstrate knowledge of law enforcement and training accreditation to assist the Senior ISD in fostering design innovation in training these areas
• Support evidence gathering to support accreditation requirements
