job_description.job_card.job_descriptionLead the entire appeal process from initial assessment through resolution Represent cases before administrative appeals boards and participate in settlement negotiations Interview, evaluate, and negotiate with external consultants and attorneys Own real estate tax projection and budgeting cycles Partner with Asset Management, Finance, Legal, Property Management, and Accounting teams to explain budgets, valuations, and appeal strategies Provide clear, detailed explanations of complex property tax matters to stakeholders Maintain and update property tax databases and information systems Conduct research, analyze evidence, and develop strategic recommendations for complex tax matters Ensure accurate tax bill processing and documentation Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial property assessment and / or valuation Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field Advanced knowledge of property taxation principles and valuation techniques Strong understanding of property tax and real estate terminology Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

What You'll Do
Strategic Analysis & Decision-Making
- Evaluate property tax assessments and determine appeal viability using cost, income, and sales comparison approaches
- Conduct comprehensive case reviews by analyzing sales data, assessment notices, rent rolls, income / expense reports, and market trends
- Make critical decisions on pursuing appeals and subsequent options
