This position is a part-time position (15-25 hours per week) with a mix between coaching time in the water, office / administrative tasks, and deck and cleaning support. Whether in the pool or in the office, this job is all about great customer service. You must be reliable, punctual, have a strong work ethic, and good verbal communication skills. We offer paid training to help you learn our system and approach.

This job will require afternoon / evening and weekend shifts. We will only consider applicants who can work :

• At least one 8-hour shift on a weekend day
• At least one 8-hour shift (12pm to close) on a weekday between Monday and Thursday
• Other shorter shifts in the evening to fill out the 15-25 hours per week

Responsibilities :

• Make sure everyone is safe.
• Love and respect students while teaching them to swim.
• Be a team player who is who is consistently dependable and reliable.
• Complete required training and be a continual learner.
• Follow our curriculum with a focus on the needs, abilities and comfort of each student.
• Smile and have fun during your entire shift.
• Provide administrative and reception support in our office
• Provide deck management and cleaning support

Qualifications :

• Caring and compassion for children and adults
• Ability to work in the water for periods of up to 5 hours
• Strong communication skills
• Great attitude and willingness to be coached
• Basic swimming competency in the four competitive swim strokes
• The ability to focus in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to commit to at least 1 year of employment, afternoons and weekends required
