Job Description

As a Security Officer- Unarmed Logistics Patrol Officer in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working together with integrity and a people-first approach to deliver outstanding service every day.

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
  • Document incidents and security-related observations according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points during patrols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
