Job Description

Printer OperatorResponsibilities

Read job specifications and procure all applicable tooling.
Set up printing equipment to accommodate job orders and specifications in the production run.
Conduct ongoing visual inspections of the machine for leaks, loose belts, etc., according to a checklist.
Troubleshoot printing equipment and conduct adjustments as needed to meet customer specifications.
Perform checks for compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
Identify and promptly report equipment malfunction, material, safety, and quality issues to supervisors.
Complete production and quality control worksheets accurately.
Perform line clearance procedures in the event of a product change.
Perform clearance procedures for shift changeovers.
Comply with company personnel and safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Perform special projects and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel.
Observe operation of the machine and verify conformance of machined workpieces to specifications.
Diagnose and repair minor mechanical failures.
Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Experience in production, blueprint reading, and machine operating.

Ability to use calipers, hand tools, and inserter machines.

1 year of college tech certificate or 6+ months of printing / manufacturing experience.

Strong mechanical inclination and detail orientation.

Strong analytic, mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Experience with press brake, tape measure, and punch press.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00 / hr.
