CTG is seeking to fill a Mortgage Post Closing Specialist I opening for our client in Williamsville, NY.

Duration : 3 months

Job Type : Hourly Consultant

Pay : $22 / hr

Hours : 7 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm or 8 am to 5 pm (flexible start time)

Overview :

Support the mortgage operations team by ensuring all mail, trailing documents, credit files, and closing packages are received, audited, and accurately updated in the mortgage production system. Communicate with settlement agents and title companies to obtain missing documents and ensure compliance with investor guidelines.

Key Responsibilities :

Track and update mortgage production system with received documents.

Prepare and scan credit files and closing packages.

Audit trailing documents against system data and investor guidelines.

Contact settlement agents and title companies for missing or corrected documents.

Process checks from closing packages timely.

Generate and follow up on reports, and complete assigned projects.

Maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.

Requirements :

High school diploma or GED.

1+ year business experience, preferably in operations, lending, or title / settlement offices.

Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred : Associate’s Degree.

Prior mortgage or customer service experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
