Full-Time Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA)

Are you a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) seeking a fulfilling career? Millennium Home Care, a leading provider of in-home healthcare services, is looking for a dedicated full-time OTA to join our team. Responsibilities :

  • Patient Care : Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Therapeutic Interventions : Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living training, and adaptive equipment training.
  • Patient Education : Educate patients and families on techniques to improve functional skills and independence.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
  • Collaboration : Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Infection Control : Adhere to strict infection control guidelines to protect both patients and healthcare workers.

Requirements :

  • Certification : Current and valid Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) license in the state of Florida.
  • Experience : Minimum of 6 months experience in hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab required.
  • Skills : Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
  • Professionalism : Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality care.
  • Transportation : Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.
