Location : Chicago IL

Duration : Through January 2026

Notes 10 / 21 :

  • Location & Schedule :

Monday-Friday onsite.

  • Primarily in Mount Prospect, might be in Arlington Heights occasionally.
  • Five days a week onsite for the first few weeks and then will adjust schedule down to hybrid.
  • Role :

    • Takes care of all digital-technology requests worldwide.

  • Global requests; from software purchases to hardware (ordering monitors for conference rooms, etc.).
  • "Own the requests" from beginning to end. Can be 20-60 requests a day (something simple like a mouse and keyboard to a TV being set up in a conference room to a laptop being set up for onboarding).
  • Required :

    • Wants a trainable person that can pick up new skills.

  • Must have experience working with Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
  • Must have ability to multitask.
  • Dependability is key.
  • Preferred :

    • Engineering background is nice to have, not required.

  • Some technical aptitude is nice to have. Understanding the difference between network cables or switches, etc.
  • ServiceNow experience nice to have.
  • Bachelor's degree nice to have, not required.
  • Duration :

    • Likely to extend.

  • Interview Process :

    • 1 round interview to hire. Can interview later this week.

    UPDATED DESCRIPTION :

  • This contractor will schedule site surveys and installations related to IMACs (Internal Moves, Adds, Changes) for one-off requests, coordinating with the Field Services team to ensure timely execution. Request types may include onboarding tasks, user moves, device reimages, installation of peripheral equipment and display monitors, deployment of mobility devices, support for break / fix incidents, and cabling requests.
  • Core responsibilities include managing all logistics related to sourcing and delivering equipment to meet station needs, as well as maintaining accurate, descriptive tracking of all tagged assets on time.

    • Skills & Qualifications :

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid troubleshooting abilities and a proactive mindset
  • Customer service experience with a focus on clear, professional interaction
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • General technical aptitude — ability to distinguish between common laptop models and peripheral equipment
  • Prior experience coordinating or supporting IT-related tasks (IMACs, hardware deployment, etc.) is a plus, but is not required

    • Other Requirements :

  • Must be able to travel locally between our three locations : Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, and Chicago
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
