Freelance Senior Linguist - Swahili

A company is looking for a Freelance Senior Linguist specializing in Marketing and Life Sciences for the Swahili language.

Key Responsibilities

Translate and copy edit content in specified subject matter areas including Investigator facing, Patient facing, and Pharmacy materials

Ensure high-quality localization and adaptation of marketing and user interface content

Collaborate with a team of freelance language experts on various accounts and programs

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years' experience in translation and copy editing in relevant subject matters

Professional level understanding of English (US / GB)

Native level expertise in Swahili with a strong grasp of cultural nuances

Familiarity with CAT tools such as XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, and Smartling

Desirable : Translation degree or equivalent experience in translation
