Night Shift : 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) or Day Shift : 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

\n\nJob Description\n

Join our Step Down Unit as a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool, where you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for monitoring and caring for patients transitioning from higher acuity settings, ensuring both safety and comfort during their recovery process.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Provide patient-centered care in a step down unit setting.

    • \n

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.

    • \n

  • Monitor patient vitals and implement safety protocols.

    • \n

  • Conduct ECG rhythm recognition and participate in medication safety assessments.

    • \n

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • MUST have 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel.

    • \n

  • MUST have 18 months of recent Cardiac Stepdown experience; travel experience will suffice.

    • \n

  • Current Ohio license or Compact State license required.

    • \n

  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.

    • \n

  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
