Your Daily Tasks & Responsibilities as an Occupational Therapy Assistant :

  • Turn therapy into magic by meeting kids exactly where they are—then walking with them toward who they’re meant to be.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions with a focus on measurable progress and goal attainment.
  • Adapt and refine treatment activities to meet each child’s unique developmental and sensory profile.
  • Serve as a critical feedback loop to supervising OTs, identifying what’s working and where to pivot.
  • Mentor interns and therapy aides, helping shape the next generation of pediatric therapists.
  • Engage in continuous learning to integrate the latest techniques into daily practice.

  • Qualifications :

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
  • Certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensed and / or eligible for licensure as a. Occupational Therapy Assistant as required in the state of Kentucky.
  • Ability to develop creative and engaging therapy activities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
