Description : This is a psychiatric nursing position on a day shift.

The role involves a 1 : 6 patient ratio.

The responsibilities include admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients in a fast-paced environment.

The nursing staff will administer medications and conduct assessments.

Effective communication with physicians is essential.

The patient population consists of emergency department patients awaiting psychiatric evaluation and placement.

The role does not involve working in the main emergency department.

Weekend shifts are required in a four-week schedule.

No on-call duties or floating to other units will be necessary.

Holidays may be required as needed.
