Home Instead is looking for Weekend Support Professionals to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of direct care, non-medical services that allow aging adults to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. To attract and retain the best staff possible, we are offering a $500 hiring bonus.

Shifts : Our shifts range from 4 to 12-hour shifts depending on clients’ needs. The ideal candidate will champion our weekend needs and act as on-call support to our team.

Locations : Monroeville, Penn Hills, Plum, Oakmont, Verona, Fox Chapel and other surrounding areas.

Primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :

  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Assistance with personal care (e.g., grooming, bathing, continence care)
  • Assistance with transfers and ambulation
  • Companionship and client engagement

Requirements :

  • Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and valid auto insurance. Will also consider applicants with other means of transportation.
