Residential Project Manager

The Residential Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing residential construction projects from inception to completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships and compliance with local codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling :

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate permits, inspections, and compliance with Milwaukee building codes.

Team & Contractor Management :

  • Hire and supervise subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to resolve design issues.
  • Budget & Cost Control :

  • Monitor expenses, approve invoices, and maintain accurate cost tracking.
  • Ensure projects remain within financial targets.
  • Quality & Safety Assurance :

  • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards on all job sites.
  • Conduct regular site visits to verify quality and progress.
  • Client Communication :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Maintain strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Qualifications

    Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years in residential construction project management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Skills :

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., JobTread, MS Project).
  • Strong knowledge of Milwaukee building codes and permitting processes.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Licenses :

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
  • Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range : $75,000$100,000 annually (based on experience).

  • The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00 / hr.
