Virtual Desktop Engineer •TS / SCI Required •

Job Description

TEKsystems is seeking a Virtual Desktop Engineer with an active TS / SCI clearance, CompTIA Security+, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) experience to work on-site in Savannah, GA. This position will be supporting the Army Military Intelligence Command and is a long term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities :

• \tSupport the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment.
• \tExperienced in system design and integration, identity life-cycle management, and process automation and improvement
• \tTroubleshooting all related performance issue across the organization
• \tEnsure optimization of desktops for platform interoperability and act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.
• \tOffers endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks on Virtual Desktop related tasks.
• \tDocument operational integration of future technologies (and update as required.)
• \tMaintains an Advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies.
• \tOperate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.
• \tApplies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.
• \tConducts trade studies and makes recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions.

Requirements :

VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DTM 2023)

Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop, VMware administration, VMware Horizon VDI, BIG-IP F5 application delivery controller, Citrix Netscalers

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00 / hr.
