Description :

Position for an Orthopedic Registered Nurse.

4x12 or 3x12 night shifts.

The unit has 38 beds.

Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.

First-timers are accepted.

Will work every other weekend.

No on-call requirements.

Clinicians may float to other Med Surg departments as needed.

Open to accommodating block scheduling.

Local candidates are accepted with no radius.

RTO restrictions ideally no more than 5 days.

Guaranteed hours allow for client cancellations.

Telemetry experience is preferred.

Previous travel experience is preferred.

Nursing duties will include caring for patients undergoing orthopedic elective surgeries such as joint replacements, trauma patients needing surgical interventions, and managing infections involving skin and bone.

Special procedures include traction, bedside debridement, and complex dressing changes.

Equipment utilized includes slings, walkers, IV pumps, and vital sign monitors.

Candidates must be able to secure housing and complete compliance needs in a timely manner.

Candidates are required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
