Job Title : Physicians Assistant (PA)
The Physicians Assistant (PA) role involves the clinician providing diagnostic and medication management services to patients of Mindology. The clinician can expect to collaborate with other members of the psychiatry team, as well as psychologists and therapists at Mindology. The PA will be provided with administrative support for prior authorizations, prescriptions, scheduling and basic phone calls.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conduct patient assessments and provide care consistent with accepted professional standards, including evaluations, treatment, referral, and related documentation.
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management
Attend case consultations and collaborate with other providers within the clinic.
Willing to assist in training experiences of rotating students (PAs, NPs or medical students)Required Skills and Abilities :
Prior experience managing psychiatric patients, treatments, and medicationCapable of functioning independently to provide psychiatric care in an outpatient settingAbility to work with diverse groups and maintain confidentialityHas no pending actions by the board in any stateMust be currently credentialed with insurance, or be willing to become credentialedComfortable in the use our technology suite : Microsoft 360, EHR / EMR Systems, etcKnowledge of HIPAA policies and best practices.The ability to work as a teamMaintains a positive attitudeWell-organized with a strong attention to detailEmpathetic to client needs and concernsEducation and Experience
Successful completion of a formal physician assistantActive PA licenseDEA licensePossess current board certification (NCCPA)Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 poundsCompensation :
1099 Contract positionCompetitive salary range based on licensure and experience
