About the company
Our client is a leading importer / distributor of fresh produce and specialty foods in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, supplying a wide range of foodservice clients, from restaurants to hospitals. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing company on a hybrid schedule located in the Bronx.
Responsibilities of Senior Accountant :
- Prepare and process journals related to month-end close activities
- Ensure Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled each month
- Support external year-end financial statement audit
- Review and analysis reports in addition to tracking and resolving any reconciling items
