The Human Resource Specialist role is responsible for performing day-to-day human resource related tasks such as onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations and compliance reporting and record keeping. This role may also include the same for 3rd party companies.

Duties / Responsibilities :
- Onboarding of New Employees
Conduct new employee orientation
Introducing new employees to offered benefitsAdminister new employee trainingMaintain and update employee contact information, ensuring accuracy, and updating company-issued phonesCompensation and BenefitsMaintain employee coverage changes
Stay up to date with retirement plan law changesParticipate in compensation committee - review reasonable pay ratesEmployee Relations and Performance ManagementServe as point of contact for employees' inquiries related to HR policies, benefits and procedures.
Manage performance review processProvide guidance and resolution for personnel related issues with operations and legal departmentsConduct background checks specific to new hires or project requirementsCoordinate random Union drug screens as requiredAnnual Compliance Reporting and RecordsSubmit annual government reporting and annual limit changes
Maintain WI Driver reporting systemCoordinate CDL testing and file managementKeep CDL list up to date and annually review non-CDL driver recordsCompile and submit USDOT annual reportingReport EEO information to state and federal agencies as requiredManage employee files in Viewpoint Vista including safety training documents and refreshersOther duties as assignedRequired Skills / Abilities :
