Security Professional - Armed

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $21.90 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Tue 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Wed 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Thur 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Fri 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized access within the location
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the site
  • Interact professionally with staff, patients, and visitors while upholding the values and expectations of Allied Universal
  • Carry and maintain control of assigned firearms and / or other security-related equipment in accordance with company and site-specific procedures
  • Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations, medical emergencies, and / or other incidents as directed by site leadership

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience
  • Must possess an armed guard card or license
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
