Are you an experienced Senior Staff Accountant looking for a challenging yet rewarding role? Our organization is seeking a dynamic accounting professional to join our team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, including IFTA, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, G / L accounts, and financial reporting. Experience in QuickBooks and NetSuite is essential. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an established organization while building on your existing skills and experience.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Senior Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including :

1. Managing all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

2. Ensuring compliance with IFTA and other relevant regulations.

3. Performing regular reconciliations of G / L accounts.

4. Preparing and posting journal entries.

5. Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

6. Using QuickBooks and NetSuite for various accounting tasks.

7. Collaborating with other team members to improve accounting processes and procedures.

8. Assisting with audits and other financial reviews.

9. Providing guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Staff Accountant position will have the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 4 years of experience in a senior accounting role.

2. Extensive experience with IFTA, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and G / L accounts.

3. Proven experience with financial reporting.

4. Proficiency in QuickBooks and NetSuite.

5. A degree in accounting or a related field.

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

9. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

10. The ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
