Medical Assistant (Fresno)

Responsibilities :

• Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Works within a team care environment to provide excellent patient care services within scope of practice as established by the Medical Board of California.
• Coordinate with appropriate staff.
• Pre-visit planning in collaboration with patient
• Collect and record patient data for vital signs, height, weight, and basic medical history
• Specimen collection and in-house diagnostic tests
• Patient preparation for procedures and assisting provider in such
• Records performance of authorized patient treatment and care in the medical record, consistent with medical protocols
• Participates in staff education and training activities in collaboration with back-office training staff.
• Maintains required competencies as established.
• Other Medical Assistant duties as assigned.
