Sign On Bonus : $3,000 paid over the first 3 pay periods Retention Bonus : $1,000 paid at 90 days, 180 days, and 365 days FLSA Classification : Non-Exempt

SUMMARY
The Hydrovac Operator is responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation processes. The incumbent operates Hydrovac and other machines used in construction to excavate, load, dig or break rocks or debris, dirt, orother materials. The Hydrovac Operator acts as crew lead, responsible for the completion of projects in a safe and timely manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all timesSupplying a safe, effective, and professional service to our clientsRigging equipment in and outStaging equipmentCompleting tasks associated with daylighting excavation, trenching, bell hole and shoringCompleting all required paperwork on a daily basisAttend safety meetings and ensures all tasks are always completed in a safe and professional mannerResponsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, trenching, and digging, using a high-pressure wand to loosen the soil and a vacuum system to remove the debris or build-up.Communicate effectively, professionally and demonstrate a strong customer service focus in all interactions.Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and as the need arises perform minor repairs to equipment.Use client provided technology (iPad) for field ticketing and time and attendance.Properly document all client, Federal, State, and Customer paperwork as required by law and / or established policy in a clear and legible manner.Must work safely at all times and follow safely policiesMust perform pre and post trip inspectionsMust wear PPE at all timesMust adhere to dress code policyCustomer service and team orientedQUALIFICATIONS
CDL A license.High School diploma / GED.Tanker and HazMat endorsement preferred.Winch truck experience preferredExperience in operating skid steer preferredMeet all Federal Motor Carrier D.O.T. requirements and safety qualifications.Current D.O.T. medical card.Ability to read and interpret information such driving routes, safety rules, sales tickets, operatinginstructions, and procedure manuals.Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills.Ability to work night or weekend shifts as necessary.Must be detail oriented due to the necessity of safetyMust possess excellent oral and written communications skills.Able to thrive in a team environment.CDL certification from accredited driving school and one year of similar driving experience; experiencemay be substituted.Experience in energy industryPHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires 40 hours per week and the willingness to work additional hours when needed.This position will be scheduled on a rotational work schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off, 6 days on and 2 daysoff or any other schedule that meets business needs.ENVIRONMENT
This position works outside in all weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts andoutside weather conditions.The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles.The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions and high, precarious places.The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.SAFETY
