Community Manager

Location : Americas (remote)

Who we are

Union Finance is building the Credit Primitive for DeFi.

We believe that open, permissionless, community-owned financial applications are the future. These decentralized applications will gain global adoption due to their superior user experience.

Market opportunity : There are $2B in loans outstanding on Ethereum, all collateralized. In traditional finance, uncollateralized lending is 100x the collateralized lending market.

Product opportunity : We are building the protocol to enable credit on Ethereum, which we believe is a crucial primitive for DeFi to become more Positive Sum.

Company opportunity : We are a team of designers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and crypto veterans aiming to build a dream team.

We are backed by long-term investors like Placeholder, 1kx, Coinfund, KR1, Scalar, and top DeFi Angels.

Role : We are seeking a growth-focused community manager who is well-versed in NFT communities within Web3 and familiar with various metaverses.

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of blockchain fundamentals, smart contracts, and DeFi protocols
  • Interest in open, community-driven platforms (e.g., voting in governance)
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills in English

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with local communities across all channels
  • Participate actively in NFT communities within the Metaverse, Gaming, and Art sectors
  • Develop strategic marketing campaigns and branding initiatives
  • Coordinate with community group leaders
  • Identify and channel partnership opportunities
  • Support marketing and events teams
  • Provide regular updates and insights reports
  • Be active in Telegram, Reddit, Bitcointalk, Twitter, and other relevant platforms

    • Skills and Experience

  • Strong interest in DeFi, NFTs, NFT Art, and open financial systems
  • Experience engaging with Web3 communities across Europe, USA, and Asia
  • Proven track record in building and managing communities
  • Active participation in crypto communities on Twitter, Discord, Reddit
  • Comfort with decentralized crypto tools like MetaMask, DEXs, Liquidity Pools
  • Excellent English communication skills
