Position Summary :

The Assistant Sales Manager will support the Sales Manager in leading the sales team, driving revenue, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role will involve direct customer interaction, overseeing sales operations, mentoring sales staff, and ensuring team goals are met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist the Sales Manager in overseeing day-to-day sales department operations

Support, motivate, and help manage a team of truck sales representatives

Maintain in-depth knowledge of inventory, features, and pricing

Work with the finance and service departments to streamline customer experience

Help monitor sales performance and develop strategies to achieve sales targets

Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high satisfaction

Contribute to recruiting, onboarding, and training new sales staff

Generate and follow up on leads and ensure CRM systems are up to date

Stay current on industry trends, manufacturer incentives, and competitor offerings

Qualifications :

2–5 years of experience in truck or automotive sales (management experience a plus)

Strong knowledge of commercial trucks and related products

Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills

Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets

Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
