Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at a K-12 school in Buckeye, AZ. This role is a contracted position for the school year, working 40 hours per week from 8 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for K-12 students with special needs.
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to each student's abilities and learning styles.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student progress.
- Monitor and document student performance and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement.
Qualifications and Experience :
Valid Arizona teaching certification in Special Education.Experience teaching K-12 students with diverse learning needs.Strong knowledge of special education laws, best practices, and instructional techniques.Effective munication and teamwork skills.Ability to maintain accurate records and ply with all educational requirements.Location :
