Quality Assurance Tester

Overview

Joint Strategic Technologies (JST) is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Tester to join our team supporting the sustainment and modernization of the United States Air Force and Space Forces human resources portfolio. This is a pivotal role where you will contribute to the modernization, sustainment, and development of mission-critical Air Force Human Resource systems. Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, execution, and maintenance of complex test processes, ensuring system functionality and reliability align with client specifications.
• Develop and execute automated and manual test cases to validate software components, modules, and subsystems.
• Analyze test results to identify defects and propose solutions to enhance system performance.
• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior QA testers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Conduct system performance testing using tools such as Selenium, ALM Octane, and LoadRunner.
• Contribute to the development of CI / CD pipelines and ensure adherence to DevSecOps principles.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and ensure alignment with Agile methodologies.
• Document test results, create reports, and deliver updates to clients and team leadership.
• Stay current with emerging testing tools, technologies, and trends to recommend improvements.
