Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field.
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and Licensed Recreational Therapist (LRT) in North Carolina.
• Experience in behavioral health settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for patient-centered care.

What We're Looking For :

Graduate of National Recreation and Parks Association / American Association of Leisure and Recreation (NRPA / AALR) accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree is required. New graduates after January 1, 2007 must hold National Certification (CTRS) and North Carolina State Licensure (LRT). Current practitioners must have the ability to obtain National Certification (CTRS) and North Carolina State Licensure (LRT) by January 1, 2008.
