Cnc Machinist Level 2
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist Level 2 to join our team, specializing in the production of precision parts for the medical device and oil & gas industries. This is a contract position requiring hands-on experience with CNC machining, blueprint interpretation, and parts programming / design. Ideal candidates are local, U.S. citizens, and available for onsite interviews.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate part production
- Perform basic programming and adjustments to CNC machines based on part designs
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Participate in a 48 week first-shift training period before transitioning to second shift
Required Qualifications :
3 to 5 years of hands-on CNC machining experienceProficient in blueprint reading and precision measurement toolsExperience working in medical device or oil & gas, or similar manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with CNC programming for part designStrong attention to detail and quality standardsMust be a U.S. CitizenMust be local and available for an onsite interviewShift & Schedule :
Training : First Shift (4 to 8 weeks)Regular Hours : 2 : 30 PM 11 : 30 PM (Second Shift)
