Traveling Industrial Electrician

As the Traveling Industrial Electrician, you will perform fundamental electrical installs for industrial packaging on a daily basis. You will also perform all duties related to industrial packaging for backup power. This role requires 1-4 weeks onsite per project and is 100% travel based.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Electrical Installation & Maintenance Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Conduit Bending & Wiring Work with EMT, rigid conduit, and pull wire for various voltages (24V DC 480V AC).
- Control & Automation Systems Work with wiring diagrams to determine the proper installation process for control cabinets and industrial automation systems.
- Safety & Compliance Follow NFPA 70E and NEC requirements for electrical safety.
Additional Responsibilities :
Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.Additional duties as assigned by manager.To be successful in this position you should have prior experience as an electrician in either the commercial or residential field. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.
Education / Experience :
Specific industry experience desired or an equivalent college degreeCurrent Journeyman's license (preferred but not required)Required Qualifications / Skills :
Experience with Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing Industrial ControlsAbility to Run / Bend Conduit, Pull & Terminate WiresScissor Lift, Boom Lift, and Bucket Lift ExperienceOSHA 10 or 30 (preferred)Must Be Willing to Work Weekends as NeededPreferred Qualifications / Skills :
