Nephrology physician job in Virginia : As a Nephrologist you will : - Applies professionally accepted standard of care techniques and use of equipment to complex cases. - Performs procedures such as renal biopsies, placement of central venous access for acute hemodialysis, urine microscopies, supervision of dialysis treatments and therapeutic plasma exchanges treatments, etc. - Serves as the subject matter expert and consultant, with regards to the specialized field of the nephrology to local and regional military treatment facility healthcare providers and operations. - Participates in the medical and allied health education programs. - Guides, instructs, and trains trainees in the medical and allied health education programs. - Performs Other Duties as Assigned
