About The Position

Our client, a nationally recognized healthcare system, is seeking a Social Worker for their Fort Pierce, FL facility. The Social Worker (MSW) is responsible for non-clinical, biopsychosocial assessments and interventions for the inpatient floors and the outpatient emergency department. The MSW performs crisis intervention, patient / family interventions, high-risk screening, focused emotional support, and referrals for financial assistance or other identified resource needs. The MSW is dedicated to patient and family-centered care

Job Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required

Minimum of 1 year recent acute care social work experience with discharge planning REQUIRED

Experience with PASSRs and ESPERs REQUIRED

LCSW not required

Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities

Experience in hospital, insurance, or county social service settings strongly preferred
