Senior SQL Server Database Administrator Healthcare IT & IV&V Technical Consultant

Columbia, South Carolina (Only Locals Needed)

Required Skills :

  • 7+ years experience as a SQL DBA
  • 5+ years experience with SQL Server
  • 5+ years experience with High Availability / Disaster Recover (HA / DR)
  • 3+ years experience with TSQL
  • 3+ years experience with PowerShell scripting
  • 7+ years experience with performance tuning, backup / recovery, and security
  • Proven DBA experience in supporting enterprise applications in Linux / Windows.
  • Understanding of database scalability and operations.
  • Strong communication (oral / written) and teamwork.

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in data encryption and traffic encryption.
  • Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) experience
  • Understanding of Oracle Enterprise Manager
  • Healthcare industry experience and / or experience managing PHI / PII data
  • Vendor management experience
  • Medicaid operations experience
  • Public sector experience is a plus

  • MS SQL Server 2016 / 2019 Enterprise
  • High Availability / Disaster Recovery (HA / DR) Solutions
  • T-SQL Development & Optimization
