Your day to day as a Senior Consumer Lending Closing Specialist

As a Senior Consumer Lending Closing Specialist at People Driven Credit Union, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our members receive exceptional assistance throughout the lending process. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and managing multiple consumer and small business lending queues and email inboxes. You will also review and analyze all documentation related to consumer and small business loans to confirm compliance with underwriting stipulations. Engaging directly with members, you will discuss final closing details and numbers, ensuring clarity before sending out closing documents. Additionally, you will prepare comprehensive loan documents for consumer and business loans, overseeing the funding and disbursement of approved loans.

To maintain our commitment to excellence, you will conduct thorough post-closing audits to verify that all required documents are complete and all closing conditions have been satisfied.

Requirements for this Senior Consumer Lending Closing Specialist job

A robust set of skills and knowledge is essential. Familiarity with lending policies, guidelines, and procedures is crucial as well as a solid understanding of federal and state legislation and regulatory issues pertaining to collections, lending, and membership.

Strong analytical skills are necessary for reviewing and assessing loan documentation, while exceptional communication skills are important to effectively discuss final closing details. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will be responsible for preparing and auditing loan documents to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
