About The Position

Position Summary :

We are seeking a certified and reliable MRI Technologist with an active OBMI (Oregon Board of Medical Imaging) MRI license for a long-term travel assignment. This role offers a consistent Thursday–Saturday block schedule, no on-call or floating, and 1 : 1 patient care in a supportive, fast-paced imaging environment. Ideal for technologists who enjoy working independently and delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform high-quality MRI scans per physician orders and protocol standards

Prioritize patient comfort and safety, including screening for contraindications and contrast use

Accurately document patient data and imaging results in PACS or EMR systems

Communicate effectively with radiologists and referring providers

Follow OBMI regulations, infection control practices, and radiation safety guidelines

Operate and maintain MRI equipment (GE, Siemens, Philips, etc.); troubleshoot technical issues as needed

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited MRI or Radiologic Technology program

Active OBMI MRI License – Required (no exceptions)

BLS certification – Required

Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred

Comfortable working independently with a 1 : 1 patient ratio

Must accept 36 hours / week – 48-hour requests not permitted

First-time travelers welcome

Preferred Skills :

Proficiency with contrast use and safety screening

Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and MRI physics

Excellent communication and patient care skills
