Requirements  Update 10.13 : Providers must have a MA licensePLEASE DO NOT CONTACT CURRENT UMASS GI PHYSICIANS FOR LOCUMS WORK!Outpatient Gastroenterologist MD / DO - only outpatient endoscopy centers no clinicEMR is EPICAnesthesiologist CRNA will be providing the sedation but there could be the need for occasional administrating of provider led moderate sedationCases start at 8am in Southborough and booked until 3p Cases start at 730 am at 21 Eastern Ave and booked until 3pmMajority of cases are MAC Goal is 14 to 15 procedures per dayGastro Fellowship requiredBCMust have MA licenseReason for locum - Colonoscopy backlog reduction and volume expansionNeed - 1 person 5 days a weekUp to date CSR and DEA requiredAddress where provider will work - 21 Eastern Ave Worcester, 28 Newton St Southborough, 157 Union St MarlboroughNeeded for 1 year No callPatient load - 14-16Procedures - upper endoscopy and colonoscopyEndoscopy position The provider will typically have anesthesia support but there may be occasions where sedation is needed and therefore should have moderate sedation privilegesWe will have APP and RN support for pathology and patient calls. It would be expected, however, that the provider answer messages, etc while on their shift on siteInterview process - virtual meeting with one of the MDs
