We are seeking an IT Specialist to join our Tampa support team, providing essential technical expertise for our Southeast Division laboratories

Position Overview

The IT Specialist will provide first-line technical support to end-users, laboratories, and branch locations throughout the Southeast Division. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to resolve hardware, software, and networking issues, and the capacity to support specialized laboratory systems in a mission-critical environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for Windows desktops / laptops, local and network printing, networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN), and specialty / proprietary lab systems.
• Support daily operations of the Tampa laboratory (400+ workstations) and divisional IT infrastructure across ~2,900 devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues completely and accurately; provide training to end-users as needed.
• Process hardware / software requests including ordering, setup, installation, and testing.
• Route advanced / second-level system issues to the appropriate internal teams.
• Support networking and infrastructure within divisional boundaries.
• Assist with specialty laboratory system support and configuration.
• Travel occasionally to branch and stat lab locations; some overnight stays required.
