Job Description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist position in Marion, OH. Key Responsibilities :

Set up and operate CNC mills and / or lathes to produce precision metal components.
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operations.
Load raw materials, perform tool changes, and monitor machine operation for accuracy and consistency.
Make offsets, minor program edits, and adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and part specifications.
Inspect completed parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Perform routine maintenance checks on machines and report any issues promptly.
Accurately document production data, inspections, and any process changes.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in machining preferred.

Proven experience operating CNC mills or lathes in a production environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.

Familiarity with basic G-code programming and machine controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, or similar).

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs and standing for extended periods.

Team-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Flexibility to work swing shift and occasional overtime as needed.
