Program Description
The Service Automation Engineer will play a key role in supporting and enhancing automation systems within existing clean room facilities. This role covers the full range of automation service activities, including implementing sequences of operations, developing documentation, building project-specific software and graphics, and leading testing, troubleshooting, and customer training efforts
Education and / or Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience : Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or practical Automation Software Development background
- Minimum of 3-5 years Experience in controls for HVAC systems, including familiarity with current technology
- Required Experience with PLC or microcontroller programming Required Ability to read and understand plan drawings and electrical schematics
- Required Experience with AutoCad Electrical software or other drafting software
- Required Skill in computer functions such as word processors, spreadsheets, and internet usage
- Preferred Technical writing experience
- Preferred Experience in and / or knowledge pertaining to pharmaceutical cleanrooms
- Preferred Knowledge of HVAC systems, in areas of design, common control strategies, installation, sequence of operations
- Preferred Knowledge of commissioning in accordance with cGMP standards
- Preferred Knowledge of industrial communications protocols (BACNet, OPC / UA, ControlNet, Ethernet / IP, Modbus TCP
