Administrative Manager

Job Category : Frontline Administrative

Summary of Position : Administrative Manager provides office support for all aspects of the Shelby County Program.

Administrative Manager functions as the office receptionist, prepares weekly paperwork, and payroll processing. Also, maintains confidential participant and personnel records.

Individual must be able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment and maintain a professional manner with staff, families, and other service providers.

Must be organized, pay attention to detail, have good time management skills, and be computer literate (Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite / 365 Word Processing and Spreadsheet Software).

Must have the ability to work well with others, be friendly and have an outgoing personality.

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Associates degree is preferred. Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficient Computer knowledge is necessary, specific skills will be evaluated upon interview.
  • Knowledge and experience using database type software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven experience in an administrative role.
  • Some understanding of insurance, and third-party billing is helpful.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Some evenings may be required; flexible schedule
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation, driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage is required.
