Job Description

The Substation Engineering Manager will be responsible for :

• Developing a partnership with the PM to execute projects technically.
• Developing and implementing a project execution plan for the technical aspect of projects.
• Assigning project tasks and providing technical guidance to project team members.
• Supporting the technical aspect of scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinating and / or performing quality checks and reviews for all project deliverables.
• Working independently and may direct, mentor, or train one or more Project Engineers, EIT's, or CADD / Designers.
• Leading multiple projects concurrently, utilizing teams in different locations.
• Participating in project reviews as needed.
• Working with senior engineers and technical leaders to identify and develop specific technical expertise.
• Assisting with developing technical papers and / or presentations.
